Vanuatu Beef
Vanuatu is unique amongst the pacific islands in having a developed a robust natural beef export industry.
The industry is well regulated and has proven itself to be successful in exporting natural beef to overseas markets with stringent import and quality standards.
Vanuatu Natural
Beef Quality
The natural beef comes from farms that only feed their cows grass and are antibiotic and hormone-free.
The beef in Vanuatu is free of all major cattle diseases.
Safety First
Our Vanuatu beef processing plant runs under 53 quality systems which are audited by the quality assurance officer and by the technical manager.
A Government veterinarian comes to the plant daily to do an audit. While we are processing there are two meat inspectors present.
The food safety program is run to the same standard as New Zealand M A F.
Vanuatu hopes to continue to use its fortunate animal health status and the recognition of its export meat certification systems to improve its market access options in the coming years. The stated policy aim is to ultimately be able to export Vanuatu beef to all the major import markets in the world.
